3Works, if you can get it to turn on and off
By Myke
For the people that say it doesn’t pick up the dirt, my guess is they are only using the included filter, which does NOT filter out small particles. They sell that separately – but a cut off piece of nylon stockings works great as a sand filter (I live in the desert, and get LOTS of fine sand in both the pool and spa) – just stretch it over the filter it came with.

All in all – this is the best thing we have found to vacuum both the hot tub and the above ground pool. It’s efficiency is what kept it from getting a single star due to it’s one MAJOR drawback, which is after the 3rd use, trying to turn it on or off literally requires using a vice! I am lucky, and have a vice bolted to a workbench already sitting about 10ft from the pool, but without that, I would have thrown it away.

If they could put in an on/off switch that worked, I would have given it 5 stars… as it DOES clean both the pool and spa.

4Works Fine
By Robert E. Klein
I read other reviews on this product before I ordered it. It seems several people had trouble operating the on-off mechanism. I found that it works just fine -BUT- it takes some familiarity to recognize the markings which have to line up in order to turn the unit on, and it takes moderately strong hands. Anyone who can read the instructions and look closely at the unit should be able to work it fine (as long as hands are not arthritic or weak). I like this product!

4Works fine, we like it
By B. Bruce
We bought this for our 14 foot round metal set pool. My 16 yo son does the vacuuming and he said it is so much better than our old pool vacuum you had to hook to the hose.

Only complaint? Why on earth do they not include the pole? It comes with a 2 foot nub. Now I have to find the “extension” pole.
