Tinfoil pressed tightly around foam strip. 3. Use plastic disposable knife to spread Tanglefoot on the tinfoil. (you might want to use disposable gloves.) Trap those pests before they can climb the tree and infect your treasured trees/fruit. Do Not put directly on tree. And be sure to use the weather stripping to prevent critters from climbing up inside the Tanglefoot. Happy Gardening! 14 of 15 people found the following review helpful. We also coat red spheres with it, to trap flying insects that would otherwise infest the fruit. It works well – but is getting harder to find. The big box stores stopped carrying it, so I was pleased to find it on Amazon this year! 8 of 9 people found the following review helpful. In most cases it only needs to be applied every other year. The substance is VERY sticky so wear gloves and apply it with something disposable. I usually use a thin piece of wood or a stick. It will also curtail climbers into your trees if you apply it to the lower branches. |
